5/13 NYCHSAA Sectional Champs-  This meet saw some tremendous pr's by the underclassmen. The 400 relay scores again (5th time in the last 6 years). The Throwers take 3of 5 scoring  places in the Javelin. The Sophs 400 relay take the school record.  Dan Murtgah comes up big in the 3000 meter steeplechase.  Check to see who qualified for City Champs

4/17 Iona Prep Invitational- Some big pr's as the team runs off all the Easter Candy.

4/8 Mount Relays- The weather was the main story of the day. It was cold and wet but the team did well in the driving rain.

4/1- Farrell Invitational- The weather was great for awhile, The performances were good but most of all the team enjoyed the hospitality of the Staten Island families.  We would like to thank the Olsen and Giachetta families for their generous support of the team this weekend.  A big thank you also goes out to everyone else who showed up at Farrell to cheer the team on. ( Mr. Nilles, et al.)

3/28- Fordham Prep Development meet #1- The runners got their first taste of outdoor action on the square track at Fordham Prep.  The team showed that they were strong after a month off from racing.  They seemed eager to begin the outdoor campaign.

2/25 Manhattan College Relays-  The season ends with a haul of 33 medals. The times were a little slow due to the track, but the aggressiveness was present.  Delianites and Steinberg score their Varsity Letters by medaling in Varsity events.

We scored in 11 of the 13 events.  Submidget Relay takes 2 scoring places as Brian Aguiar steps up and runs a monster anchor leg.  Soph SMR A team sets the school record enroute to a gold medal. Shot Relay sets the school record with their gold medal win.

1/14 Stanner Games-  The 3200 relay breaks 8:40 for the first time in two years.  The 800 Relay hits 1:38.0 for the first time this year. Frosh run 2nd fastest SMR in school history.  Tim Ryan showed tremendous resolve as he fell during his race.  He picked himself up and finished the race as any son of Xavier would, but what stands out is that Tim broke his collar bone when he fell and still got up and made sure that his team mates would be able to run.  This will become apart of the Xavier legend, just like John McDermott and his broken leg of 1995.

All Indoor records have been updated to include last year.
