XAVIER CROSS COUNTRY NEWSLETTER 10/14/97
Over the weekend the team competed in two meets, The All Hallow’s Invitational and the Manhattan College Invitational. The team did very well with 26 runners posting personal bests and 32 seasonal bests. The team seems to be rounding into shape. Here are the results:

MEDAL COUNT: With the 25 won this weekend, the season total rises to 113.
MOST IMPROVED PERFORMANCE: This week we had some tremendous improvements. Pat McGoldrick, William Bernstien, Jeff Alcoser, Steve Errante, Lee French, Tom Napolitano, Andrew Donahue, and Joe Alcoser all had over a minute drop in their time.
BEST PERFORMANCE: This week’s award goes to the 26 runners who hit pr’s this weekend. Also the Freshman team ran great against some of the toughest competition on the East coast.
