            Over the weekend, the team competed in the CHSAA relay carnival and the results were very encouraging.  The team seems to be grounding into shape.  Here are the results:

Due to Official error we were unable to get the times for the Novice Distance Medley.  I apologize to all the members of these two relay teams.

Medal Count:  With the 12 won this weekend, the total goes to 24 for the season so far

Most Improved Performance:   This weeks award goes to the Junior weight 3200 meter relay.  They all ran pr’s and hopefully this trend will carry over to Thursday’s meet.  Also JP Fonosolla’s great throw of 35’6” puts him 2’6’ from a varsity letter.

Best Performance:  This weeks award goes to the Varsity Distance medley especially James Carroll’s great mile run, Varsity 800 relay and Varsity 1600 relay.  There were some great races on this level which only goes to show you that we are able to take on all comers.  Special mention to the Soph relays which are showing great signs of improvement
