            Over the weekend the team competed at the first real indoor meet.  There were some very impressive times by the veteran team members and some of the new comers were equally impressive.  Here are the result.

Medal Count:  The count remains the same at 12 for the season so far.

MIP/BEST PERFORMANCE:  This week’s award can go to many people.  So here are a few:

Kevin Maloy, James Carroll- for their good times in the 2 mile relay

All the Varsity Mile relays- 20 guys under 70.  Great race after a long wait.  Especially A Team

All eight juniors in the DMR- very good performance in the face of some very tough comp

Murphy, Cruz,  Malave, Bakay -  Shows that new comers can run

French, Traugott, Patterson, Serrano- making a fine switch over to track from Cross Country

All eight Frosh in the DMR- Fine races all around

Shot put team- surpassing the coach’s goal for this meet by 8 feet

Iron Man Award of the week:  Andy Cruz  3 fine races and no complaining.
