XAVIER CROSS COUNTRY NEWSLETTER

     As the season got off to a real start, the Xavier harriers collected a total of 5 medals this weekend at the Regis Cross Country Invitational.  Some of the top teams in the league were present for the race and Xavier showed that we are ready to compete with everyone this season. Here are the Results:

Once again the team shows signs of improvement.  Keep in mind, the times will drop gradually over the next few weeks. As the weeks go on, we will be running faster and with the better teams in the league.  It is only a matter of time before we are ready.

MIP:  This week the surprise came from the sophomores who all ran great races. MULLEN, FAUGHNAN, andPAYNE win the MIP this week.

Practice for this week: Monday:   Practice after school about 3:15 p.m.

Tuesday:  the runners who will be competing this weekend are going to Van Cortland with Mr. Dormer.  All Others to Central Park with Mr. Dolan

Wed-Thurs:  everyone to Central Park
