XAVIER CROSS COUNTRY NEWSLETTER  10/18/93       This past week, the Xavier cross country team participated in a few meets.  The results were very encouraging as we begin to prepare for the Championship season which begins next week.  There were many great performances on the individual level and the team finished in the top ten as a team twice this week.

MIP/ Best performance: Of the 8 personal records set this week, I must mention the tandem of juniors Dros and Rivera who had impressive drops of about 30 seconds each.  If everyone keeps working hard we can expect more of these drops.
