| The Varsity Sprinters take on one of the marathon meets and produce some impressive results. Keith Mesidor destroys his own school record in the Long Jump. He becomes the 1st Son of Xavier to soar over 22'. This is good enough to be ranked 8th in the Nation. The 800 Meter relay of Mesidor, Dom Deniro, Gabe Spooner and Ed Wagner run a blazing 1:33.73. This gets them 7th place out of the 100 teams that ran. It also takes down the school record. (old record set by J. Edmonds V. Benitez G. Lettieri R. Lundy 1:34.02 2000) |
