FRESHMAN GUIDE TO SURVIVING MIDTERMS
(This works for Sophomores as well)
(Juniors and Seniors should know what to do by now)
The most important way to prepare for Midterms is to begin NOW and start organizing yourself for the exams. Start by following the schedule listed below. It might seem like it is complicated but it will help you. If you take the time this week to prep for exams, you will be able to make all practices next week. If you procrastinate, you will cause severe problems for yourself and for me. I know it seems silly to plan every moment, but this is the only way that you are going to get it done. I have scheduled you time to relax, eat and run. You need to get a good night sleep in order to be prepared for the tests. Sleep is one of the most important factors to doing well on exams. I DID NOT SCHEDULE ANY TIME FOR FACEBOOK( or other means of social media) This is because it is a distraction. You need to be studying. The world will not end because you do not check in on the everyday details of everyone you know. If this seems like work, good because it is. Studying is work. Also, I would turn off the music while studying, despite what you tell yourself it does not help you concentrate, it just distracts you. If you need any help, let Mr. Dormer or Mr. Bernstein know right away. Follow this schedule and you will be able to live up to all your responsiblities.
