Details of nominees performance:

As the CHSFL AA Playoffs approach, the Xavier Singlewing Offense is heating up at the right time.  In the last three weeks alone, Xavier has rushed for 1284 yards and 16 TDs.  Always the bridesmaid and never the bride, playing second fiddle to the Tailback, Fullback Matt Geruso has been a major unsung contributor in this explosion.  On Friday night, Matt rushed for a season high 157 yards including a 45 yard touchdown run.  As a matter of fact, in each of the last three games Matt has rushed for over 100 yards for a combined total of 386 yards and 3 touchdowns not to mention lead blocking on most of the plays that resulted in the Tailback rushing for 490 yards and 10 touchdowns.  When he is not doing that, he is fly or spin handing off to the Wingback or catching passes on 4th and 10 to keep last minute drives alive.  For being a major cog in the machine, Xavier nominates Matt Gersuo for CHSFL Player of the Week.
