Alumni Welcome!!!

Come watch the Team Formerly Known as the Kaydets... and then the Bruins... take on the Prepsters of Rose Hill in the sequel to last year's thrilling upset of Bronx Jesuit by the 16th Street Kidz..

Division AA Fordham Prep (8-2) has had a year to brood and— thanks to their upset loss in the CHSFL playoffs— nearly two weeks to rest up and plot their revenge against Division A Champion Xavier (9-1).

Will four days be enough time for Coach Chris Stevens and his Amazing and Astounding Gridiron Way Back Machine (390 points in 10 games— a 39-points-per-game average) to refuel and retool before meeting the Ancient Enemy on the shores of Jamaica Bay?

Hey, take that turkey and stuff it, pal— when these kids were at the Northeast U.S. High School Rugby Championship tournament last May, they played three games in a weekend, two in a single day.  Two weeks later, the Knights were in the National High School Rugby Championship.  Same thing.  The result: 6 wins, 0 losses, 2 titles.

Don't worry— Chris and his coaches will have them ready.

So pack up the babies and grab the old ladies (apologies to Neil Diamond) and head for Aviator Field Thursday morning as the Knights take on a formidable foe in one of the great Thanksgiving traditions anywhere.  You won't be sorry.  This could be another one for the ages, folks.
