Gentlemen,
Parade: The Regiment will fall in on East 44th Street between 5th Avenue and Madison Avenue at 1100 on Wednesday, March 17. Cadets are required to wear Class A Greens and are encouraged to bring a pair of black gloves if the weather requires.
Uniform: Next week is the honors assembly. All cadets are required to wear their uniform next Wednesday (3/10/10) and Thursday (3/11/10). During Regimental drill next Thursday, all cadets will be inspected for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Information about the parade to follow.
NEWS FLASH: All cadets are eligible to receive up to 16 UNDERGRADUATE COLLEGE credits for completing standard Leadership courses in Military Science/JROTC here at Xavier!
Cadets receive these college credits without writing a single paper, completing a single project, or taking a single exam while in college. Why? They have already completed this course work at Xavier!

Meanwhile, the Regiment is gearing up for three major activities next month:
First, the Regiment forms up on March 17th at 11:00 AM on East 44th Street between 5th and Madison for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Manhattan.
Second, the Military Ball will be held Saturday, March 20th at the Fort Hamilton Officers Club in Brooklyn from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Third, volunteers from the Regiment will march in a second St Patrick's Day Parade in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, forming up at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, March 28th. Cadets are encouraged to attend Palm Sunday services at St Patrick's in Bay Ridge prior to the start of the parade that day.
Congratulations to Freshmen Matthew Maquiling and Daniel Roman for qualifying as expert riflemen this month and rising to the Varsity Rifle Team!
A School paintball trip is planned for Friday, April 9th to Skirmish, PA. Students may pick up permission slips in Regimental Headquarters, Room 3D2.
Finally, Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge will take place at Fort Devens, MA this summer from June 27th to July 1st, and Xavier has been allotted 50 spaces for our cadets, the largest contingent of any of the 16 high schools in attendance.
